Sudden Strike is a game in the vein of Total War and Command - RTS. Its revolutionary gameplay and "humanitarian" gameplay rules allow up to 256 players in a multiplayer game to fight against one another in the WW2 period.
Sudden Strike was released as the first Wargame that is completely customisable with the "Creator's Toolkit".
The aim of Sudden Strike is to crush the enemy base and to capture as much territory as you can in the given time. In this way the player learns to use an important strategic element of warfare, namely the concept of "blitzkrieg".
